Nitro Beer Gas

I just finished another batch of Peanut Butter Cup Stout and just got my new stout faucet. I got it carving now with just co2. I'm planning on getting some nitro mix this weekend. Can i force carb with beer gas? Ive heard the nitro won't absorb into the beer. And what kinda pressure should i be serving at with my stout faucet?

You want to carbonate with CO2 and push / serve with nitro mix. 35 to 40 psi would be a good place for the nitro pressure to start.

Spot on, both counts. I carb to around 1.5 volumes with CO2 then dispense with 75/25 beergas at 40psi. I keep an imperial chocolate stout on tap and while it was always wonderful carbed to around 2.3 volumes and dispensed with straight CO2, the stout faucet on high pressure beer gas is a whole 'nuther sensory experience.

A short pour kicks my @ss to bed every night without fail...
