The brewery created Snake Venom after fans deemed Armageddon "too weak" when it debuted in 2012.

Probably because tests have been done that suggest its actual ABV isn't even close to the listed one.

Why do UK breweries doing American styles all rely on stupid gimmicks and "edgy" marketing?

to me, beers like this ("world's strongest beer", etc) are like going to the state fair and seeing the stand selling the "world's largest egg roll". at first, it seems wonderful and something you should be all about, because ****, it's the world's largest egg roll. i need this inside me. half way through consuming it, the realization occurs that this is just grease and some ******** ass cabbage. you'll never forget this experience however, once you've gotten on the Vortex.

but you know... with beer or something.

Stupid. I had Tactical Nuclear Penguin yesterday and that stuff was horrible. Just way too strong for what I want in a beer, and that's only half the ABV of this. The smell was so potent it was unenjoyable.

****** taste aside, it's only 275ml, or 5.5 "shots". About 9 "drinks" after accounting for the extra alcohol.

Intiharing a 15% 750ml, as has been done many times, is a little over 6 "drinks".

It's certainly doable...

(minimum) 22oz vessel filled to the top. More than 1 bottle would be needed.
