Hello, I'm Ryan from New Brunswick, Canada. I just starting brewing beer this month. I made a Morgan's Canadian Blonde kit following the kit instructions. It has been brewing for about a month.

I tried one the other night, and I don't think it turned out the way it was supposed to. It has a very watery taste to it. I didn't get an alcohol percentage reading, but I would guess it to be quite low.

I'm not sure if I went wrong somewhere or if this type of beer kit just isn't suited to my tastes for beer. (Which is almost any kind..)

Any tips or comments would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Ryan

Hi, and welcome to HBT...

Here's a good thread to read through full of tips and tricks for the beginning brewer... https://www.homebrewtalk.com/showthread.php?t=54362

You might be able to self-diagnose what you did wrong. (My bet is you didn't thoroughly mix your wort with your additional water enough...or you drank it too early- Those are usually the 2 most common mistakes the beginner makes.)

Also don't forget to read this if you already haven't http://www.howtobrew.com/intro.html

Thank you, I will check that thread out. I will let the beer sit in the bottles for a couple of more weeks and see if that does the trick.
