Ordinary Bitter on nitro. Takes me back to the pints of bitter enjoyed in England. Used Crisp floor malted marris otter as the base. Highly recommend.![]()
Yes I agree! I wish I had a beer engine but I’ll have to settle for nitro instead. Cheers!I love bitters on my nitro tap! I prefer through a beer engine but they are hard to come by here in oz and very expensive but nitro is pretty damn good too!

1.75 lbs grade b maple syrup at flameout
0.25 lbs grade b in the keg after it came out of the barrel.
It was really hot for about 6 months after the barrel. Now it's very "woody", but good.
Is it anything like Tetley's? God I love Tetley's.View attachment 723080

Care to share recipe/grain bill and hops? Not a stout drinker by any stretch, but that looks a nice pint.![]()
Fearin's Dry Irish Stout - my Guinness clone.
Also, just got a text from my Irish coworker who I gave a bottle to today - 5 stars from him!
Bitters I remember in UK pubs hardly ever had a fine head on them like that. Good on yer. Perhaps I was drinking in sh*t holes. Entirely likely. In my defence, was always more of a lager drinker in my "beer soaked rugby" youth.View attachment 723080

The white head seems unusual. Anything special in the recipe?Dry Irish Stout - 6.8%
CO2/Keg
I ended up with better efficiency than I expected but I decided to just let it ride instead of watering it down.

That looks amazing. Excellent glassware choice, my favourite for that style.
