Hello fellow brewers and drinkers of God's greatest gift... brew! My name is Steve Carlson, and I hail from Michigan (Go Blue!). I started brewing 5 years ago, but have taken the last year off due to life getting overly busy with 4 kids who are deeply involved in extracurricular school activities. Being home bound for the last 4 days due to weather, I decided to order supplies and get back in the craft. Supplies came today so it starts again... today! My 2 older boys have agreed to help, so excited about getting them involved. One will be able to enjoy the brews of our labor. The other will have to wait a few years- but he'll learn early. Today's brew will be a winter time ale, ABV of hopefully between 8.5 and 9% . No better time to brew a winter ale! Excited to be part of Hombrew Talk! Thanks for having me!
