Hi everyone,
I recently inherited a kegging system which I decided to use on my last batch of blonde ale. I don't have a freezer (or fridge that fits the keg) to cool down the keg so I initially filled the keg with 12 PSI of C02 2 weeks ago at room temp and have been shaking periodically.
I tested the beer yesterday and it has carbed up a little bit, but the beer gets flat pretty quick. I tested to make sure I don't have a leak by attempting to fill with C02 again, but I couldn't get more than 12 PSI into the keg.
I have a party next week that I was hoping to serve the beer. Should I add a bit of sugar to the keg and fill again with c02 so I can make sure there is carbonation by next week or would you recommend I cool it down somehow (ice) to add more c02?
Thanks All...
