New keg smells like rubber

Got a new 3 g keg and it stinks pretty bad. I think the smell is coming from the rubber gasket on top. Is there any quick way to get rid of the smell? New to kegging, can't wait to pour the first pint!

Just smells like rubber, like new cheap shoes. Just worried my beer will get the flavor.
