Why 10bbl?
Why not 10bbl?

I wasn't the one that made the decision on the system size. The Head brewer before me did. If anything with the size of the space that I am in would have gone smaller. In a year or two the 10bbl that is about to go online will likely become a pilot system though.

Hop basket from utahbiodieselsupply arrived. 9" wide, 19" tall, it's like a shorter ball lock keg in size. huge. can't wait to make my next ipa with it.

Don't forget to boil your raspberries. you don't need flavor or aroma, just the essence
I actually didn't watch the video until just now. Anyone else notice at 45 seconds it says to add one packet of "calium chloride" ..... this must be the secret behind fermenting a beer overnight! BRB gonna go brew me up a 20% stout and barrel age it real quick. Release party is next Friday!!!

3 10's and a 20 bbl fv. I only have 1 20 bbl Brite
All fv's are uni tanks though. It's an issue I've been discussing with the owner. If I get my way I'm gonna kick everyone out of the back tast9ng room (we are about to open a front tasting room) and will turn all new space into fv and Brite real estate.

would you prefer an uni over a regular FV?
some people suggest 1 BT to 2 FV's. im trying to figure out a good brewpub setup.
i don't know how i would swing when the time comes..

I would say (just my input) that's a fine ratio, especially if you just wanna double brew a beer and fill a BT full, we have 8 75 FV's with 4 BT's on the production slab . 2 75's, a 40 and a 20.

Anyone have a custom RO setup? I need one for brewing so I can create 30 gallons for brewday. but not sure how the auto stops work. if I was to fill a tank or giant water bottle, how would you set something up?

FV to BT ratio is pretty variable depending on size, ratio on on-premise to off-premise, etc. We run 8fvs with 10 single wall brites as serving tanks. I have a keg washer as well, so I usually keg off the last 1-4 kegs, CIP the brite and get the next batch in to condition while we serve from the kegs. This is for a 7bbl brewpub.
