Hi-
I recently got a Camp Chef SH140L burner with 24 inch legs. It is one of the better investments into my home brewery in a long time! No more waiting over a hour to get to a boil and it keeps me away from making a mess out of the kitchen...
Anyways, I need to raise the burner up to allow for a stronger gravity feed. I am thinking of placing it on top of a portable wood or plastic table. Conventional wisdom would lead me to believe that cooking on a portable wood table is a poor idea. However, with the 24 inch legs I actually think the table would not be exposed to excessive heat.
What do you think?
Thanks!
