Hello all, I have been reading this forum for more than a month now. I have been absorbing all the information I could for my first brew. I boiled my first wort on Friday. Everything went well with that, put the fermenter in the basement, bubbling great next day. Today checked it and temp dropped, moved fermenter upstairs in a closet, 3 hrs later back to 64, so think I am ok. Looking forward to more threads and more usefull info to come. Thanks

Welcome to the obsession!!:D

Feel free to ask, and the group around here is sure to provide some answers. Some of the information will also be correct!:p

Seriously, there is a great group of very knowledgeable individuals here to help you on the journey.

Enjoy!

Greetings!

I am from Topeka. Actually went to Waru (WRHS). This is definitely a great place to get information about everything related to making consumables on your own. Welcome!

Hey fellow KS brewer! I'm just down the pike from you near Emporia. Pretty new here too and only 3 (1 proven good) batches under my belt.

Anyway, good to see a fellow Jayhawker on the boards!

Another Kansan here. Just boiled my first batch last week. Looking forward to it! I grew up in Topeka too but went the other way and became a Wildcat so don't hate me too much:)

a2tz- No worries from me (as long as you don't throw out any EMAW's out here!), I'm not one of those 'Hawk fans. Drank away the sorrows of seeing the Cat's suck Cotton.
