nettle beer & wild sorrel

Anyone know if it's possible to use sorrel instead of nettles? So much of it grows round here in the north of Ireland. Not sure if it's a common plant or anything.

Well I believe sorrel is poisonous in large quantities, so it probably depends how much you're using.
