Need temp controller sensor hole for Sanyo

I have a Sanyo mini-fridge(not the 4912, similar but with freezer on top).

I'd like to feed my temperature sensor (analog bulb type) through a hole in the back or side. Any suggestions as to where to drill so as not to hit anything?

I put mine (a 4912) through the drain hole in the back. Remove the tray above the compressor and the rubber insert. Drill the hole to the size you need and put the tray back in.

Thanks, but see above. (It had a tray to "catch" the drip from the freezer, but that tray had to be removed to "barely" fit a pin-lock keg. So not only no drain hole but no drip tray now, either. Condensation builds and doesn't drip out. But that's a different topic.)

I guess I'll have to pull in out of the cabinet and do a "feel" test. Failing that, and possibly safer, maybe where the wiring comes in for the existing freezer control?

The other option is where the compress hump is. That's *usually* just a piece of sheet metal with nothing in it. If it's not insulated it should be fine to drill a small hole through.
