I am currently mashing an APA with a 10 pound grain bill with an ideal SRM around 5. I wanted to do a light body infusion mash at 150 for 75 minutes. I over shot my temps...20 minutes in and I am at 154. My mash tun holds temps so it'll end no lower than 152.

Should I shorten my mash time to 60 minutes or continue for 75?
 
You could open the lid and stir it up a bit to release some heat. If you have some extra grain, add some cooler water and bump your base grain up a tad. Still, just adding some cold water to drop your temp shouldn't mess your numbers up terribly bad.
 
You probably can't do anything about it now - Most conversion happens within 15 minutes. If you overshoot your temps, add a couple of ice cubes, or a quart or two of cold water to bring it down. Just remove that quart from your sparge water totals and you'll be fine.
 
I thought about that but I figured with being 20 minutes into the mash I'd just accept having more body because a 154 temp doesn't bother me. I usually mash between 152 and 154 but when I do that it is only for 60 minutes. That's why I'm wondering if I should go with 60 minutes (which I'm leaning towards). About to do a quick Google search and see what I find.
 
I'd cut it back to 60 min. I also use the free sparge pal app on my IPhone. Plug in batch size, grain bill, boil time, grain temp etc.......and it give you your mash amount and water temp to hit your mash temp and your sparge amount and temp. Works great and usually hits the numbers dead on.

Thanks. I use iBrewmaster on my phone and the numbers are generally spot on also. I think the four degree difference came from my grain. Normally it is in my basement (ambient temperature around 56) but this time it was in the kitchen (ambient temp around 66).
