So i'm making a small one gallon partigyle with coca( not cocoa )& dirty chai
I have half a gallon of trub from a stout i racked yesterday and i have bakers yeast which one should i use. or would you (who ever you are) just keep it bottled with no yeast untill i can get yeast tomorrow?
3rd option is open a beer and pitch what lil dregs are in there.

You should wait until tomorrow to pitch yeast. Baker's yeast is gonna taste like **** and a bottle likely won't have enough dregs for 1 gallon.

Coca beer! That's a first haha. Good luck

okay cool is the trub out? its super thick i saved it for baking purpose its in a growler with an air lock.
The coca leaves should be fun im only adding like 2-4 grams so its just a novelty. Its going to be an herby partigyle. Ethnobotanical... porter.yes i understand how weird i am.

As long as the trub was stored properly and not just sitting out in the open air to get infected, you could pitch that. It would probably take off pretty quickly. If you're worried about it though, I'd just wait until you bought some yeast. Don't use baker's yeast.

well i went for it. i pitched 500 mls trub collect yesterday to a gallon i think it will take off fine. I hope it will anyway. I wasted nothing except 7 teabags and a few hours of my afternoon if it doesnt work out.
cheers and thanks to all.
