Hi my summer fruit cider is not fermenting as all the stuff is sit ting on top of the liquid what's happening here please guys
 
You may wanna post this in the cider forum this is just for recipes.
But I will say you going to ha e to be much more specific to get any useful help.

I put in
2 tsp yeast
150g sugar
3 litres asda summer fruit juice

Any ideas what is going on guys

What is asda fruit juice? Any sorbate or benzoate in it?

Here you are Yooper here's what was in the summer fruit juice

Ingredients
Apple Juice not from Concentrate (93%), Raspberry Puree (4.0%), Lemon Juice not from
Concentrate, Lime Juice not from Concentrate, Strawberry Purée, Fruit & Vegetable Extract [Carrot,
Blueberry]
 
The picture looks fine- that's exactly what it should look like during fermentation. It will stop doing that as it finishes up, but still leave an icky 'ring' around the top of the wine.
 
What do you mean all the stuff is sitting on top? Do you have a layer of foam on top? Any chance you took some hydrometer readings? Has it been under an airlock? Does it smell like vinegar or apple juice now? Did you guys put in any yeasts? What is a summer fruit cider - from early apples? WVMJ

Is the fruit floating? If so, use a sanitized spoon & push down at least once a day, twice a day is better. This is called "punching the cap." Your cider may well be fermenting, but the indicators might be tough to see. Often, the fermentation process will push fruit up to the surface. Also, itcan take as long as 72 hrs for a fermentation to take off.

Looks like foam on the top from something fermenting, you need to get a hydrometer, this will allow you to answer this question on your own very easily. WVMJ
