I am looking for a nut with an inside flange, like a slip joint nut.

It would thread onto a fitting that is 1.99" x 12 TPI. (11.5 would probably work...)

The use would be to slide over a tube, and press a flange on the end of the tube, the fitting on the other side having an O-ring in groove.

I have no idea what that nut might be called or where to find such a thing. I work in a machine shop, so making something to work isn't outside the realm of possibility, but I'm really hoping there are some off-the-shelf options out there.

And no, a 1-1/2" plumbing slip nut won't fit. It's ever so slightly too small...

I'm tryin' to get a visual on what you are looking for......

"inside flange" and "slip joint"..........You mean like on the drain elbow under your sink type of "slip nut"?

Yes, like that, but those threads don't fit as those are 1.90" and this is 1.99.

FYI a standard 2"-20 nut fits fine. I looked online and the prices are too high. I can drill and tap a piece of stock and weld a flange on it for less than $10. And I'd have it sooner (not that time is of the essence, but you know how we are nowadays. Can't wait for anything!)
