I am looking for a nut with an inside flange, like a slip joint nut.
It would thread onto a fitting that is 1.99" x 12 TPI. (11.5 would probably work...)
The use would be to slide over a tube, and press a flange on the end of the tube, the fitting on the other side having an O-ring in groove.
I have no idea what that nut might be called or where to find such a thing. I work in a machine shop, so making something to work isn't outside the realm of possibility, but I'm really hoping there are some off-the-shelf options out there.
And no, a 1-1/2" plumbing slip nut won't fit. It's ever so slightly too small...
