Anyone got one to sell me? These are the same washers used in the cooler bulkhead kits.

Honestly I'd buy online, but the shipping is nuts - to ship to 45869 it was anywhere from $6 to $14! For a washer!

Heck tape it to some cardboard and toss it in an envelope and send it slowest means possible and I'll pay shipping - I don't need UPS 2 day or even USPS Priority at that rate

/end rand

Seriously, if you have one PM me and I'll Paypal funds and ship costs. I need to stack a couple of these washers (same ones that go on bulkheads for Igloo coolers) and I ordered one less than I needed.

None of the local BB hardware stores carry much SS stuff, so I'm out of luck locally. Even Fastenal did not have one.

Unless you have an unusual setup, 7/8 is too large ID. Regular washer with 5/8 ID should work. Bought mine at local Hardware that carries large assortment of special items. (Southerlands) I think they were less than .50 each.

It is to fit the 1/2" side of this: http://www.bargainfittings.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=36_56&product_id=111

I can take a pic, but holding the ruler up to it is almost 7/8" ID on the nose.

My bulkheads are also from BF, and they are 1/2" NPT threaded. This is because my false bottom when used with that elbow puts the end of the elbow on the floor of my Igloo cooler. I need to stack the washers on top of the FB to raise it, else the weight will push the elbow to the bottom and nothing will come out the ball valve on the front of the cooler.

Luckily I ran into this when I was leak testing the bulkhead.

I live in a small town, but we have a decent hardware store. nada. Also we have a Fastenal. Nothing there either. Don't even get me started on Lowes, HD and Menards. Their collection of SS hardware sucks...

Took me stopping at three BB hardware stores to get the parts for my homemade hop spider. Good thing for me Lowes and Menards are side by side so it wasn't a ton of running around...

Now you know why I have heartburn at paying $2 for one only to have to pay high shipping on top of that. $7 is the cheapest I have found, which is as nuts as it sounds...

If I had only saw my issue before my last order to Bargainfittings, I would be set right now...:(

Washers specified at 5/8 have id that is larger than spec? 4 on the left are 5/8 ID S/S.
Get back to me if you still cannot find them. I can arrange to get them to you.

I think i have a bunch left over, will have to look but PM me your address and if I find em I will get them to ya..

Here's a pic showing the dimension I need. Thanks in advance for any help you might can offer!

A nut is shown in the pic, but I need that ID of 7/8" to fit over the fitting shown just above. That end will go thru my false bottom and be secured with a nut. If I don't use washers on top to space it out it bottoms out on the cooler.

Does that washer fit over threads at all. Do you have caliper to get a more accurate measurement.
Hold on, is this a 1/2" fitting?

No, just S/S washers from hardware store. The only others I found had way too large OD, described as fender washers. These are regular 5/8 S/S washer. I had to stack a couple to get the thickness I needed.

Yep, this is a 1/2" fitting, not a 3/8"

I'll pull out the calipers in a sec. That pic with the fitting is a nut, not the washer. Just showing that to illustrate the ID needed.

I cried uncle and paid BF another $5 flat rate and threw a couple washers in the order, but went ahead and ordered some more valves and a bulkhead for if and when I get a kettle larger than 44qt.
