Looks like the Pacific Northwest.
PacNW ayeLooks like the Pacific Northwest.
tis not on Whidbey Islandi never knew that there was a "Useless Bay, WA" before i started playing this game......
there is a loose connection with WaikikiI woke up this morning, and thought hawaii. and wondered why i didn't think of it sooner as a possibility...
Ilwaco, WA it is!Not as romantic as Waikiki sounds, but ya gotta love a beach named for the dead body that washed up there. And right there with Cape Disappointment. It's so inspiring. No wonder @Rodent wanted to live there. Waikiki Beach, Washington, is south of Ilwaco, Washington, the skyline picture.
I think that’s Windsor Castle
It is. This one:I feel like we've been here before. Is that a river valley past the horizon in the first pic?
Not the entrance to the cemetery, but there is a cemetery in another part of this place. It was established in 1866.First picture said graveyard entrance to me, 2nd a train station. Does seem certain to be in the USA. Hmmmm.
Well at least one of those pictures of Washington was cloudy. LOL.Ilwaco, WA it is!
Deadman's Cove is such a beautiful place

as is Waikiki Beach, a short 2.5 mile bike ride from 'downtown' Ilwaco, and just around the bluff from Deadman's Cove

I never attempted to bring a ship ashore here, and have never yet been disappointed during a visit.
@D.B.Moody - you're up!
It isn't.That looks like an east coast river.
It is.Looks like the Midwest to me. Someplace where the river boats used to run.
It is on one side. How about the east bank of a river?
Yes, the Mississippi River. This place predates the Civil War. In the 1840's it was the largest military establishment in the US.I was thinking Mississippi river somewhere as well.
1866, civil war, canons (didn't see that at first), graveyard...
Military related. Civil war era, and still around. Old fort perhaps. Hmm.
Yes, that is a grave. Is that a grave to the left?
