I knew it had to be an island, dang it!
I looked at license plates from the US territories to zero in. Letters/numbers on the left, palm trees on the right.

I meant Assisi.
Just looked at photos of Assisi and not sure it is correct but Assisi is the only place I have been to that looks like this photo. It's a pretty awesome place to visit.

Isn't that the famous building in Manhattan? Wikipedia (searched for "wedge building") says it's the Flatiron Building?

Haha. Much bigger. There's a similar bldg in Vancouver CA that I was certain it was, but a quick search proved otherwise.
