Guys this is getting a bit out of hand. Back to back near-impossible photos?

I'll take a stab.....Jamaica?

I think that photo was posted with tongue firmly planted in cheek... which means GrogNerd is up for getting the Daytona Beach photo, which will hopefully get us back on track

If I'm wrong, then Grog, given your navy background, you're somewhere in the south pacific judging by the color of the water and the apparent temperature, and the landmark is the U.S.S. Whicheverboatyouservedon

yeah, I was j/k with that one

tell the truth, I'm not sure which OCEAN that was taken. Swim Call, USS Hawes (FFG-53), c 1992. it's either the Pacific off Guatemala or Caribbean off Guantanamo & seriously, there was no land in sight. that's me in the middle

here's my real entry, back to Bing Maps oblique view

& hint: there are 4 breweries in this picture

Hmm, that looks like Bend, Or to me which has a high concentration of breweries

that's a downtown skyline of a historic town of 12.5 square miles and home to 47,673 Good People, including a beloved former pro football player and a former Playboy Playmate of the Month

Newsman kinda missed the point of the thread here. It would have been more useful if he had posted a picture of the architectural landmark instead of posting a pic he took while standing on it.

EDIT: ah crap did realize we were 2 pages ahead of were the forum took me...oh well point still stands and this Bing Maps pic isn't any better.

P.S.:

sky·line - ˈskīˌlīn - noun:

an outline of land and buildings defined against the sky.

I'm a believer in keeping order and balance in the universe. In order to restore said order and balance to this thread after those last two, I leave you with this:
