Zing! It's from the top of the Sky Building (which across the street from the place with the best selection of craft beer in town.-well one of the three best) across from the fourth busiest train station in the world (where I am right now actually)

You're up Minky!

OK, let's try this one:

You're up, sir!

My great uncles both worked the Cristobal docks beginning about 1910ish. One was harbormaster, and the other worked handling cargo. I'd like to go there someday.

Oh yeah, the picture is the Colon 2000 cruise ship dock.

I have been through the Canal once, Noriega was still our guy.

I just guessed Panama based on your clue, threw the canal port into google and came up with Colon not Panama city. Our cruise transited the canal but did not stop in Panama.

Since we're on the subject of mountains

This might be bending the rules a bit, but try to identify the location this picture was taken based on the background.

Mt. Jefferson? It looks too flat in between to be Rainier to me but I'm not sure.

You are correct that the smaller peaks around Rainer are bigger than these.. but this "hills" down there are about 5000 feet in elevation still

I just threw Rainier out there because it is on my bucket list, then went to the map to see no way to get Hood in the background without St Hellens and Baker in between.

I've never summited Rainier, but my first date with SWMBO was climbing to Camp Muir at 10,000 ft
