Haha, I'll give it to photopilot. jmark got the name of the street right, but pilot was close phonetically. I had to remove the dragon that is normally at the end of the street. I was hoping to fool somebody, but not this group I guess.

Not 'Dragon'.. 'Diagon' :)

Looks like you are correct. I just clicked on HBT to find a recipe to clean mold out of my keezer and saw an opening.

I zoomed in on the bank to get the name and noticed the weird shape and assumed it was an error from bad panography software. I googled it and got Universal Orlando then went back to the map to see Dragon Alley.

Since I used my google skills, which to me diminishes the fun out this game but still got it wrong. I punt to Jmark. Plus I got one more round of vinegar and baking soda to go on the keezer.

You needed to remove the name on the bank, that's how I found it.

Crap. I saw that, but let it go. I've got lots more easy ones, and some really hard ones for you guys. Let's see if I get lucky and get another one right though.

BTW, if anyone want's a super perfect recipe for the butterbeer they serve at Wizarding world (in diagon alley), I've got one that's spot on. And I've had lots of it at the park (I have annual pass to Islands of Adventure and Universal).

Pray tell what is butterbeer

Not alcoholic. It's a sweet butterscotchy rummy carbonated drink with a thick foamy head that doesn't go away. The head is almost like whipped cream.

The reason it's called butterbeer is because of the large amount of butter in it. Sounds awful, I know, but oh man it's killer good.

BTW, I recommend the Harry Potter attractions at both parks, and make sure to take the train from one to the other (one park had Diagon Alley, the other park has Hogsmeade). Even if you're not a hardcore fan, it's pretty cool.

Aw boo I was hoping it was some crazy good kind of beer I hadn't heard of. And I know exactly nothing about Harry Potter except it's a kids book series.

Well the keezer is clean. It was a new level of gross, it took 3 hours to clean out and under. Since Jmark has not caught the punt here is my entry.

I am out of subtle images. The rest of mine should be easy for a lot of people. I am proposing the following limitations on my entries. No google whatsoever, you either recognize it because you have been there or have seen photos of this location.

OK this one is probably a bit obscure, but I have faith in y'all. Plus I've got multiple shots and hints to help along if no one is getting close. But for now, here's this....it was taken from a boat, going out for a day of fishing. Doesn't show the town as much, but the mountain seen here is arguably just as notable.

Somewhere on the flathead river in Montana?

No specific guess but I would say inland passage or somewhere in Alaska.

Heading now to the map.

Nope. The water is a bay. Here's a better view of the actual town. A couple of clues in this one. Pic was taken from a plane at about 10pm local time.

Right state, a ways too far south though.

Here's another view, this time from atop the mountain seen in the previous pics. Looking south:

Seward AK... a bit tricky, but google-fu ports of call for alaskan cruises came up with a good list of cities to go check out... Seward seemed to be the only one with that long ramp with the crane thingy at the end.

I am going to agree with Seward,
I used the same search method but only used the last image posted and google maps along with a list of cruise ports.

Haines and Seward have the same details I was looking for:

A narrow bay,
River on opposite side of the port and
A cove or hook on the same side further down the bay
Islands at the bay's entrance.

I like the look of the river at Seward better.

Winner winner. A great city to check out if you're ever near Anchorage.

The mountain is Mt. Marathon, so named because of a race that happens every year on July 4th. First up and down the mountain wins. This thing is over 3,000 ft from the base (roughly sea level), and people make it up in about 30-40 minutes, and back down in 10-15. Seeing many bloody people and broken bones is not uncommon. It's quite a spectacle.

You're up, jmark.

Yeah... Bit easy... Not anywhere near my PC to get something harder... Figured the bridge might get a Charleston, SC guess since they're fairly similar.
