context: so, i planned to prepare some strawberry wine as my microbiology project. I got the strawberry extract... in a sterile glass bottle... 1ltr. I got Na metabisulphite from lab and added quite low amount of it to the mixture and it just turned pale pink...
Q) Is the color change normal? How long should i wait for So2 to leave the mixture so that i can add yeast? is there a faster way to enhance escaping of SO2

Gracias
