I convinced my soon to be wife that I was going to brew all the draft beer for our wedding in July. So, because I am supplying all the beer I need a keezer and she said yes and ok'd my build and the extra beer brewing budget to come out of the wedding fund...:ban:

I Built a simple 5.2 cu.ft keezer, that will hold 3 (maybe 4 if I get inventive, will explain) with 2 taps.

I wanted to be able to have 2 beers on tap with the ability to force carb/hold on pressure the 3rd without having it tapped and switch out easily by the bartender during the wedding if one of the kegs empties.

After much hunting I tried to maximize the space inside the small freezer, built a 8" collar, carved some of the foam from the lid, and I hunted down a 7# co2 tank that is as tall as a corny but much thinner, as a result....I can put 2 ball or pin lock kegs in the lower section, and 1 on the hump. If I want to use a combo of ball lock and Pin lock(or converted pin lock) I can fit 4. 2 pin lock(converted ball lock) and 1 normal ball lock will just fit very tightly on the bottom and 1 either ball lock or pin lock on the hump. But I digress, I have siliconed the lid to the collar, attached it with a reinforcement plate on the back and gasketed with rubber window gasket. I also built it so the whole collar and lid tip up to make it easier to load in the kegs.

Very nice. I have a 5 cu ft freezer that I'm only using as a fermentation chamber right now. Would you be able to fit 2 kegs plus a carboy on the hump? I'm hoping to cram all that into mine. Also, where did you find the 7# tank?

Maybe on the 2 keg/carboy if you found a way to support the part that would overhang the hump as it would only cover about half of bottom.

and the #7 I found here: http://www.bvrgelements.com but I would call around to make sure you have a place to fill it, since it is a strange size and no one will swap it.

I attached the tray to 2 wood supports that have rare earth magnets...and there is a cleet on the side of the freezer attached by double sided tape to keep it from sliding down. It will support 2 full pint glasses.

Oh wanted to add.....if you are looking for in expensive stainless steel drip trays, I got mine here:
