NICE! Love the cabinet! I am shopping/day dreaming now and really like the EBS setup. What was your reasoning for going with the 462 over the 460?

More process control and temp controlled outputs and the din inputs I plan on using electric valves and a water prox switch for the hlt I am the 460 would work but I wanted to have a lot of room to expand

Dig it. . . but wonder what happens when it gets wet. If your brewday is anything like mine - something will get wet, boil over, leak, or otherwise make a sticky mess.

Also, any concerns about having your laptop above the kettles? I'm thinking about steam, but also wondering how you get up that high to control your BCS. Maybe you could build a fold-out shelf on one of the doors on which you could rest your laptop?

Well I have the process set I just use it to watch the temps I built a hand held button for the next process. As far as a boil over it doesn't happen I just reach over and shut the element off with the switch. I do plan on putting something down for the mess. Also I have a ventilation fan that blows outside just above the boil kettle
