My Bad Dog

When I go fishing I bring a second rigged pole with me and lay it on the sand bar. I always put the hook in a guide but since no one was out there and I needed to get back in the water fast I didn't.

Of all the random places on a long shore line, my dog decides to sit down on a on the lure, gets it stuck in his ass and then runs about 30 yards dragging the fishing pole with him. He's small too, Min Pin.

So I learned to always guide hooks no matter what.

To me it looks like his butt cheek. Cut the tripod/hook with a snip, pull out the barb in the same direction it came in (aka push it through), good to go.

Don't leave tripods/hooks hanging around dogs. Especially WATER dogs!

The people across the street's dog got an old lure caught in it's lip. The guy was gone, so my work enlisted me to help the lady out. The only option was to push it all the way through and cut the barb off then back it out. The dog was real good about it.

The lure was ruined though.
