i have been attaching a muslin bag over the end of the tubing that transfers beer into keg. usually it catches a good amount of yeast and hop particles. im wondering though can this cause oxidation or any other off flavors/problems? no splashing occurs and the transfer is smooth. i keep the muslin bag pretty loose around the tubing with a zip tie attached. everything is sanitized.

I use this method when dry hopping. Never had a problem with oxidation. I often dry hop with loose whole hops. the bag seems to be the best option to filter out hop bits on bottllng day..
