I have a number of beers I've been aging in 3 gallon corny kegs, but I'm going to be going on a road trip and want to use those 3 gallon kegs as they'll be easier to a) stash various places in my minivan (under the kids' feet, etc.) and b) it will be easier to chill down a 3 gallon keg in a regular fridge or with ice in a cooler.

I have a bunch of cleaned, sanitized, empty 5 gallon cornies that I was thinking of transferring the aging beers back into. They'll be flushed with c02 prior to the transfer, so there really shouldn't be any oxidation risk.

Am I crazy for thinking of doing this?
