so ive been wanting to motorize my knock off corona mill for a bit. ( tired of doing it all by hand, wife wont help any more)
i was recently at a garage sale and picked up a dayton gear motor that was 50 rpm, 45 lbs torque 1/15 hp all wired up with a switch and a pot. and it worked! now my question is how do i hook up the 1/2 inch shaft of the motor to the shaft of the mill..
i was thinking put the bolt in the mill like every one that uses a drill then a 5/16 socket and a flex extender. but then im stumped as to how to get the extender and the shaft to mesh up so i can get it to turn.
any thoughts?
thanks
