I try not to point out the RAMPANT spelling errors, but damn man, I just saw 'excepting' for 'accepting'! Let's not get into the 'their' and 'there' screw ups, 'affect' and 'effect' or 'alot' which isn't a word, or the overwhelming lack of ('s) to imply ownership in contractions.

The penultimate paragraph should read:

"Since you propose borrowing only one step-bit, you'd be sending "it" back, not "them.""

The incorrect use of 'only' bugs me. You want to emphasize the number of step-bits, so 'only' should come directly before 'one' in this case. The way you wrote it emphasizes 'propose'.
