Wallymart had house brand cider on clearance for $1 for 64 oz. I used for of those and 64 oz of gravenstein from Whole Paycheck. I pitched about a half a gallon of 'beer' with swirled up trub from my mixed culture that I keep alive. There's probably two dozen bottle dregs in there, everything from 3 Fontaine to jolly pumpkin to ECY test Bretts to hill farmstead to jester King.

This is after two weeks...Pellicle in place. But I want to get some more cider to better fill it up. And as some maltodex to give the bugs more to work on in the long term.

I'm not going to touch this until next spring...
