missed mash in temp by 10 degrees

I am supposed to be mashing at 150 degree b ut this new system I am using caused me to miss it by 10 degrees I know why this happened and will fix it new brew but any thoughts on saving this batch?

Add a gallon of boiling water right away? Or if you say how much grain you have, and the strike water already used, we can run it through a calculator.
 
Definitely make sure the thermometer is right. Boil a small amount of water separately to calibrate it. My first batch I was 20F below because my thermometer was wrong.

A 144 mash will give you a higher alcohol lower body beer. But it does take a little longer. I'd mash for an extra 15 minutes. It will still be good, just different.
