Heading to Chicago this weekend to see my brother and some friends. Any cool micro brews we should hit?

Revolution in Logan Square and Haymarket in the west loop are good brewpubs. The Revolution brewery (separate from their brewpub) has free tours Wednesday through Saturday.

If the Pipeworks guys are brewing, you can probably just walk in and say hi to them. They don't have a tasting room or anything, but they're pretty cool.

+1! We went down to Revolution brew pub for brunch and took the free tour while waiting for a table (the place was packed--and for good reason food and brews are great there). Tour guide was the assistant brewer. Really nice guy. Took his time on the tour and let us ask all the questions we wanted. They have a pretty sweet operation there. Fermented and aged brews go directly to SS holding tanks underneath the main bar and are hooked up directly to the taps above-- no kegging required. They also had a batch fermenting. The blowoff bucket was bubbling out of control! Great experience. Thanks for the recommendation.
