So I started a Melomel

~1 cup Fresh Squeezed Orange juice
Some fresh orange zest
3 pounds of Orange Blossom Honey
1 stick of cinnamon
10 tbs white labs sweet mead yeast
and water to top it off at 1 gallon

Now this was done on the 23rd of this month and the temp has been between 70-75 degrees Fahrenheit which is what the sweet mead yeast says it should be at however the air lock doesn't seam to move or have bubbles going through it so i am unsure if it is ok or if i need to do something to it.

Well, the lack of airlock activity isn't necessarily an indicator of no fermentation. The gas could be escaping from a small leak elsewhere. Are you able to pull any mead out and check it with a hydrometer? That would be your only sure fire way to know if it's fermenting or not.

Did you put any yeast nutrients into the mead? I'm also kind of concerned that the OJ may have dropped the pH into a range that made for some unhappy yeast, but I'm not sure if 1 cup would have been enough to do that or not offhand.

this is what it looks like

Is it possible the orange juice lowered the pH more than the yeast likes.

Edit: Someone already guessed that.
