Mash Conversion Iodine Test

Does anyone use Iodine for testing mash conversion? If so what strength of Iodine do you use? I see there is Tincture of Iodine 2%, 7%, full strength. I'm not sure what to buy, but I want to test conversion on next batch. Thanks.

I think a lot of people use iodophor. Not sure what strength that is but it'd be a good place to start.

Straight, undiluted iodophor, works just fine.

I use the Tincture 2% from the drug store. Works fine so far.
