March pump cold side

I was just watching a video of a commercial brewery using a march pump to transfer beer from a barrel to a fermenter. I’d thought you weren’t supposed to use a centrifugal pump on the cold side due to oxygen pickup. Any thoughts on this???

As long as there aren't any sucking leaks in the pump head and the whole thing is gas or liquid purged (clearly not the case in the video) oxidation shouldn't be an issue...
