I've been successfully brewing lots of cider this year. Usually I'm adding simple sugars and not dissolving them. Just straight into the fermenter. Today I did a batch with liquid malt extract and one with some DME. using ale yeast. Should I have dissolved these? I shook the fermenters up but the sugars may not have fully dissolved. No problem??

The yeast should find 'em, might take a little longer to ferment, but it should be ok. You can always give 'em a gentle stir if you feel the need, but it shoukld be fine either way.
Regards, GF.

Have you seen the thread somewhere on here titles Graff? It's a malted a slightly hopped cider. I made a batch, it was delicious.
