I just learned how to make yeast from smashed up blueberries (any kind of fruit, really) for bread. I'm wondering if I make liquid yeast in a jar, without adding any dry components can I brew with it? Is there a special kind of yeast I can find in nature that is best for brewing?

I'd like to make an "all natural" batch, just to see how it turns out. Help?

It's all hit-or-miss. I've done it with little success. Read this thread for much more information and pictures:
