I wanted to share a little success (so far) I've had with my fermentation chamber.

Hooked up the TSS2 per diagram:

The control parameters listed at the top next to "Wiring Diagram" are key. Wish I would've seen them at first - the manual with the TS controllers is not real detailed. I spun my wheels for awhile trying to get the heater to turn on properly.

I wasnt sure where I mount the reptile heater coil.

I ended up getting a bulb socket/base and hanging it thru the freezer basket.

Still in testing with 15G of water with the probe immersed in a 22oz bomber of water, I have the TS freezer and reptile heater coil both set at 67* with a differential of 2*. So the freezer will turn on at 69* and off at 67*. The heater will turn on at 65* and off at 67*.
Last night, the outside temp was ~40*, I saw the probe temp in the bomber drop about 1* over 2hrs before heater fired. I'm definately going to keep about 20G of water inside for thermal mass.

I'm thinking this setup should work pretty good. Money spent:
Craigslist 15cuft freezer: $75
Love TSS2: $70
Reptile Heater: $15
Wire/parts: $10

Thanks for the reassurance I am about to order one for my fermentation chamber. How easy was it to wire up. From the diagram it seems pretty strait forward. You dont happen to have any pictures of it wired up do you?
