After 2 months I found these 5, lonely empty kegs for $100. They use to house soda, there is no soda smell in then... And the rings looks brand new. Ther are a few dings in the kegs but these should work fine. What you guys think?

check out here

the seals look new should i replace them i was thinking of bleach bombing the kegs and soaking the rings in water to see if there is gonna be a soda smell out of them.. more of them were used for 7-up... no rootbeer has touched them

NOOO DO NOT BLEACH! I hope i got this in time but bleach will pit the SS use oxyclean instead

I used baking soda on some kegs, worked great. They were well maintained and stored under pressure so the syrup wouldn't crystallize.

I'm pretty sure there new there is no smell of soda only a new rubber smell and they are smooth and clean
