Looking for a hops reference

I am looking for a refeence source that will give me average AA, flavor description and recommended substitutions for the hops varieties commonly available in the US. Up until now I have been following the recipie recommendations but would like to branch out a bit.

I don't think there is a definitive guide as new varieties are coming out all the time. No one seems to keep up with 100%. That should give you a bit of a start though.

The problem I have is they come from the LHBW in sealed packets, so there is no way to compare directly with my own senses, unless I wanted to buy one of each!!!
