ive kinda fallen in love with Pyramid Heff and would love to brew one.. anyone have a really good recipe out there?

Search for the Boulevard wheat clone I made up. I also think my B's Honey wheat is pretty close to Pyramid as well.

This is a bit of a read but by the time you're done, you'll know more about Heffe's than you ever wanted. I can vouch for the beer which comes from the recipe and brewing method in that thread. It's freakin' awesome.

It is a great thread, but Pyramid is an American wheat. I'd use WLP320 or even 1056. Don't use a German hefe strain, or it will be WAY too banana/clovey for the style.
I will admit, the techniques in that thread are worth noting. A protein rest is mandatory with an AG wheat beer.
BTW, here is that thread with the Boulevard recipe. I concocted it straight from the info on the Boulevard website. WLP 320 or 1056 (I prefer 320) is key. NOT German hefe yeast.

My bad, we don't get Pyramid in the frozen north... Still a great thread though. Does anyone know why Kaiser doesn't hang around here anymore? I see him all the time on the BN forum...
