I have an issue. I bought a house with an existing bar and wish to add a kegerator kit with a tower.

I could install a standard kit with a 2 feet long beer line on the right side of the bar. No problemo !

But I would rather put my beer tower in the middle of the bar. If I did that I would need a 9 foot long beer line (yes my bar is 14 foot long !) .
I would also isolate my line (with fiberglass or urethane).

The problem is I usually have 3 pints per week at a pace of one a day.

I would like to know what are my options.

a) If I do a 9 foot line, will I lose a glass of beer each time I poor one ?
b) Will I need a glycol refrigeration system for such a long line? if so, how much does that cost?
c) what kind of beer line would I need for a 9 foot long beer line

a) if you keep it cool it will be fine. Otherwise you will probably pour off a line full of warm foam before you can get your first beer.
b) See a, and the cost varies greatly, based on DIY, sourcing the equipment, etc.
c) Standard beer line
Is it possible to use something like a keezer or a shorter fridge to fit under the middle of the bar where you want the tap?

Thanks for the reply. I guess i'll just put it to the side of my bar ! Losing all that beer is just unacceptable

There just isn't space for a fridge under my bar; it would obstruct the alley.
