I will be bottling a batch of an English IPA tomorrow. I was planning on washing and re-using my yeast for the first time. My next batch I brew will be an American stout. London Ale III wouldn't necessarily be to style, but would it work well?

In my experience, London III finishes a bit sweet. That being said, it is an English yeast that gives off that estery quality of English yeasts. If you're alright with a touch of sweetness, by all means use it. Personally, I'd use it.

Best of luck.
