Hey anyone ever buy from local buy and sell papers, Ive been looking on ebay for deals but the shipping costs are brutal for most stuff like carboys. I saw 3 23 ltr carboys for 10 bucks in the local paper, I cant buy right now cause ive gotta pay off a trip I havent been on yet. I am sure more deals will come along though

I search Craigslist quite often to see if there are some local deals. It is better than the paper and is very popular in this area.

Tell n sell, country shopper, whatever you have should be fine. It's just a magazine of stuff that people want to get rid of just like Craigslist or something. Similar to shopping at a garage sale...what you see is what you get.

Back when H cards were going for hundreds on ebay, a buddy and I would call up people selling their DSS systems and then make our rounds in his old beater (opposed to his nice truck) and talk them down. We got a lot of good deals that way ;)

I'd go with it!
