I worked full time and went to school full time. I had $15,000 in medical bills, no outside help and was told by doctors the stress of school could kill me...I now make triple my prior salary, enjoy my job and my current job is paying for my masters degree. I worked my a$$ off for 5 years, got crapped on my my dad ($3000 in debt to me, then refused to do his taxes so I couldn't file for student aid so I could run his business), refused student loans, worked full time, literally didn't have money to get gas to get home from school so slept in my car, ate rice every single meal because it was cheaper than ramen for 3 months. And I wouldn't trade it for anything. I earned everything I have.
If you are 22 and healthy stop with the excuses. Sacrifices now will reap awesome rewards later. Yes, this even means spending less on homebrewing and beer. (don't hate me everyone) Yes it means you will have much less free time (now) but a $40,000 job you hate for the rest of you life or a better paying job you enjoy after 4 years of busting you a$$?
