So I used one of LED Lighting kits for my keezer to go under the lid and under the tap board - http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0040FJ27S/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20
I ran the light strip from (looking directly at the keezer) right side of the lid underside, around the lid, then from the left side of the lid it runs (I should say ran) into the hole at the back of the coffin and then runs under the tap board. It was just the right amount of length. Or so I thought.
About a week ago I was closing the lid and the excess lighting strip between the left side of the lid and coffin got caught and snapped.
The strip works up until the break just fine. I had two questions that I hoped someone might be able to answer:
1) Could I just use this mend the break - http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004Q8OBWK/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20
2) http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51JtySR64qL.jpg What is the purpose of the other white cord coming out of the white controller box (the one with the black cap on it?)
Thanks!
