Just drove 30 minutes over to Lazy Magnolia Brewery in Kiln, MS (that is pronounced "Kill" for those of you that ain't from the Sip). Just scored 2 quarts of some beautiful looking yeast straight out of the fermentors- FOR FREE. How awesome are they???:rockin:

No plans as of yet, except storage. I may make an amber ale. My big plan in the works right now is to buy a grain mill. Lazy Magnolia told me they would sell me grains in bulk at cost which would smoke anything I can order online (45 lb Maris Otter for $50!). Once I have the mill, I can get my grain cheap, my yeast for free and then I just order my hops online in bulk and I can churn 5 gallon batches out for around $12-13.00 bucks ($00.27 a beer ain't bad!)

I think that is my favorite they brew right now. They just released a Ship Island Ale which is extremely light (probably a good ladies beer). And they are also preparing a Seasonal for the fall/winter to come out soon.

Have you had their REB Ale yet?

After a 6 pack I'm still not sure of it.

Love it. I'm a big fan of most their beers. Their kolsch wasn't the best, but I'm a big reb ale fan. As I said in the last lazy magnolia thread one of my good friends grew up down the road from them and he couldn't say enough about them.
