I have an electric portable cook top with two 8” elements at 2600 watts each. One element will boil 3-4 gallons in a 6 gallon stock pot, but will not boil 5-6 gallons in my 8 gallon pot. Does anyone know of a larger single element cooker? All of the those I find are less watts than I have now. Please don’t suggest propane, I know about those.

Would it be possible for you to have your 8 gallon pot bridge across both the elements and run them both at the same time? That would be 5200 watts, and if possible would most likely be enough to get 5-6 gallons to a rolling boil.
